Just found this free PDF magazine today called Full Circle, and it appears to be very good for new users of the Ubuntu operating system. Full Circle is a independent magazine dedicated to the Ubuntu family of Linux operating systems, each month it contains helpful how-to articles and reader submitted stories.
I have just finished reading Issue 22, which covers an article on the top five DVD rippers for Linux, an how-to guide for installing CrunchEEE onto an EEE PC, and covers command line options for resizing videos with FFmpeg, which I found particularly useful, as I am experimenting with creating screen casts.
It's certainly worth a look.
